Where are you located?
The salon is located at:

Access to our salon is down the side of the building, above the hair salon. There is a public carpark opposite our building and street parking is also available. Cosmetic Tattooing must be completed in the studio in sterile environment. We have a professional, peaceful and quiet studio fully fitted with beauty bed, lighting and salon equipment.
Is KD Permanent Beauty and Grace Brows and Beauty the same salon?
No. Katie previously owned and ran Grace Brows and Beauty, after purchasing the salon from its original owner, Grace. The two have since parted ways, and Katie now works exclusively at her own business, KD Permanent Beauty. KD stands for Katie Do – her name.
How do the sessions work?
During your first session we will explain the process with and ask if you have any questions before we start the procedure. The main focus of this session is the cosmetic tattoo itself. We will first start with measuring your brows to give a guideline so you can get an idea of what the final shape/result will be. Once the process is complete our staff will run through the aftercare with you in person such as what cream to use and what to avoid during healing to get the best healed result. We then will book you in for a 4-8 week follow up to review healed results and touch up your cosmetic tattoo. It's important to think about cosmetic tattoo as a multi-step process. It's better to tailor the work to each client and if needed, build up or add to the brows to ensure best results.
How long do the services take?
Eyebrow Cosmetic Tattooing takes 1.5 hours, consult only appointments take 15-20 minutes.
For the 4-8 week touch up, it can anywhere between 30-45 minutes.
What are your opening hours?
We take appointments generally between 9am to 6pm Tuesdays to Saturdays. We may take a few after work appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays. As we can only focus on one client at a time, we are a strictly by appointment-only salon.
How long does Eyebrow Cosmetic Tattooing last?
Colour retention is dependent on client aftercare, skin type and lifestyle. Generally clients come back between 1-2 years later for a maintenance appointment.
How much does it cost?

How many sessions do I need?
There's the initial consult/first session and then a 4-8 week touch up. A very small percentage of clients may require a third session to either build or perfect their brows.
How often do I need to come back for maintenance appointments?
Clients usually come back between 1-2 years for an annual/two-year touch up appointment. Some clients come back at 3+ years. This depends on your preference, skin type, style preference and exposure to the elements.
How far in advance should I make my booking?
We suggest making your booking as early as possible. Appointments times are lengthy which means we are booked quite quickly, so make sure to book as far in advance as possible.
Can I do consult and treatment on the same day?
We will do an online consult and ask you a list of questions to ensure there are no contraindications and send you pre and aftercare information prior and go through expectation management, healing process and get to know you over email or phone to ensure you are a suitable candidate first.
Please note consults take 15-20 mins, whilst cosmetic tattoo takes 1.5 hours. We will then book you in for treatment will be done on the same day. This is suitable for clients who have a clear understanding and trust in us already.
This is not suitable for clients who are unsure, overly anxious, unable to deal with change or certain types of corrective work done. If you are unsure, it's best to book a separate consult first. You will feel more comfortable that way and we can discuss any questions you may have.
What if I'm not sure what technique I should get?
Not to worry, we will explain the different techniques of cosmetic tattoo to you and together, we will choose the best suited technique to suit your unique skin and brows.

Do you take deposits for bookings?
All eyebrow feathering appointments and lip blush appointments require a $100-$150 deposit to confirm the booking. This will go towards the price of the treatment on the day.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to book in for a consultation. During the consultation we assess your skin and brows to give recommendation on best way to tattoo your brows. In the case of cancellations and no-shows all deposit paid is non-refundable, please refer to our booking policy.
What kind of products do you use?
KD Permanent Beauty uses the strongest specially made numbing creams and the double numbing technique to ensure minimal pain. We uses high-end, stable, vegan and well balanced pigments for cosmetic tattooing. These pigments are made in the USA. This ensures best colour match and retention. Rest assured knowing KD Permanent Beauty uses sterile and disposable microblades made in Europe and Korea. We are always keeping up with the newest techniques by attending regular industry workshops and researches four the best products on the market.
Is it painful?
It's almost pain free. We have clients who fall asleep or chat with us the whole treatment. There may be a few very sensitive clients; for these client we can advise you on extra steps to ensure more comfort on the day. Just talk to us and we can help you. Clients have commented that you can feel the pressure of the application and light etching noises, however we use a multiple strong topical anaesthetics that keeps the area numb throughout the process.
