Lip blush tattooing is the latest and most in-demand cosmetic tattooing treatment in Australia. As such, you should only learn from the best.

Our 3-day course is designed for both beginners and advanced artists. This program will provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skills to begin working as a Permanent Makeup Artist from day one. No previous knowledge or certificates are required to complete this course.

 

The training has been carefully designed by Master Artist Katie, who brings over 15 years of global experience. She has trained with Branko Babic (Co-founder of Phiacademy), Rebecca Chung (Princess Brows), David Tang (David Brows Art) and many other internationally recognised artists. Katie is an accredited trainer and a Nationally Recognised Certified Trainer for Beauty and Cosmetic Tattooing for over 10 years.

Course Theory & Hands-On Training

Our course includes a comprehensive training manual, client consultation processes and forms, custom lip design, and full treatment guidance with practical experience. Over the 3 days, you will gradually progress towards performing a complete treatment on 2 models. By the end of the course, you will have performed our signature lip blush techniques with confidence.

Course Structure

  • Course duration: 3 days in-person (1 day per week), 9:30am – 4:30pm. A 3-week break is scheduled between days 2 and 3 to allow time to practise before your final assessment on day 3.

  • Signature Lip Tattoo Techniques & Styles

  • Trainer full treatment demonstrations of every technique

  • Student hands-on training on up to 2 models

  • Certification ceremony (certificate of training completion provided)

  • Introduction to Lip Blush Tattoo Techniques

  • Sanitation and in-treatment hygiene

  • Fitzpatrick scale, skin anatomy, allergies and diseases

  • Product knowledge: tools, supplies and equipment setup

  • Colour theory

  • Pre-care and aftercare

  • Client consultation procedures

  • Creating the ‘Luscious Lips’ look

  • Drawing lipliner

  • Stretching technique & pressure on lips

  • In-treatment pain management

  • The 3 fundamental lip tattoo techniques

  • Hand-movement practice on lip latex (fake lips)
     

Day 1 – Theory & 1 model demonstration
Day 2 – Latex & model demonstration
3-week break – Homework (self-directed at-home practice)
Day 3 – Student hands-on training on 2 models

Pre-Requisites

SHBBINF002: Maintain infection control standards.
 

You don’t require any certification or previous knowledge in Beauty Therapy to attend this course. However, you will be required to complete the module SHBBINF001 to work as a Permanent Makeup Artist in Australia.


You can complete this module with us (during the course) for an additional $500 – no extra training day is required.

Recognition of Prior Learning is also available for those who already hold a nationally recognised infection control certificate.
